The SR-007S: Evolved and Reimagined

The STAX SR-007 series (SR-007, SR-007A) is a milestone in the world of STAX electrostatic audio products. Since the introduction of the SR-007 in 1998, STAX has redefined electrostatic headphones, offering an impressive listening experience characterized by unparalleled detail, sound accuracy, and comfort. With each evolution, the SR-007 series continues to embody the pinnacle of electrostatic audio products while celebrating the timeless design for which STAX is known. This tradition continues with the release of the SR-007S electrostatic headphones.

New Device, Advanced Technology

The brand-new SR-007S features updated diaphragms and fixed electrodes based on the designs of the SR-007 and SR-007A models. This improvement ensures greater clarity of sound details and precise low frequencies. The redesigned large, circular, fixed electrodes have air holes with a 20% reduced diameter compared to previous models. This high-precision etching process further optimizes the efficiency of the transducer.
